Change
We are creatures of habit, forever resistant to change. But when we allow ourselves to accept new ideas and embrace the change, great things can happen! Our show Change is written to showcase an achievable concept and a music book that your students will love to play and your audience will love to hear, all while incurring minimal liscensing costs. The opening is calm and reserved to portray a scene that is comfortable but stagnant and unchanging, before a sudden tempo change embodies the idea of trying new things. The middle portion of the show is introspective and demonstates that change can be difficult to accept as it breaks old routines. The end of the show represents the new and exciting opportunites that exist now that we have tried new things and embraced the change. This show features solos for flugelhorn and soprano sax, as well as a duet for flute and clarinet, but these instruments are interchangable for any others upon request.
