I've worked with JCM over the last two seasons and have had nothing but positive interactions with the entire team. I am excited to continue to work with them for years to come. They responded quickly and did some lovely orchestration for us to cover some instruments that our ensemble was missing.

We represented The Ripple Effect throughout all aspects of our performance. Audience members loved the message of the show and it was well received at all of our performances.

Joe Reynolds, Voorhees High School, The Ripple Effect

Working with Jeff Chambers Music was easy and not the slightest bit complicated. They were quick to respond and assist with all that we needed.

Our band LOVED playing [inPRISMent]. It was high energy and the audience loved it! The mix between the popular music and the modern sound, the audience was very receptive. We were the Bronze medalists at the State Competition for 2A bands in South Carolina and this show helped us achieve that.

We have chosen to go with Jeff Chambers and his team the past few years because of the fresh approach to music design that he and his team takes. They provide a product that is fun, challenging and current to the trends of the marching activity.

[Adventure is Out There] is so much fun to perform. AJR is a band that not many of my students were familiar with before we worked on this show, but now many of them are fans and are buying tickets to the AJR concert coming to our city this summer. I really like how Jeff makes a "pop music show" into something that works within the competitive marching band world.

Matt Kozacek, Campo Verde High School, Adventure is Out There

I was extremely pleased with the wind writing. As a person who typically writes for my own competitive band I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, creativity, and high level of student engagement in the show!

We've been using Jeff for most of our shows for the last 10 years. Almost all of our shows have been custom commissions and we have really appreciated how he can take our wildest ideas and make sense out of them! Whether it's interweaving Shostakovich and Pink Floyd for our The Wall show, or combining Rewrite the Stars with some original works, Jeff has helped bring our ideas to life.

Kevin Clayton, Chiawana High School, The Other Side

We commissioned this music and show from Jeff Chambers to fit our instrumentation for our small school. I love working with them. They listen to my strengths and weaknesses and have great ideas for my group. We need music at the easy to medium easy level and the Jeff Chambers group is very accommodating. Our success this season is due to their music writing and show design.

Our 2023 show, Highlander, which featured the music of Queen, was a major success. We scored higher than we ever have and the students bought into the show instantly. The ability to give information and have them write music for my group is amazing. They do such great work, even at the easy/med easy level. I appreciate Jeff Chambers and his team, Tim Mitchell and Tyler Jones, for the ability to bring this show idea to life. We used full props and guard walls in the front. Staging was done to fit the theme of "There Can Be Only One!"
I highly highly recommend them for you show needs!!

This was our first year having a show commissioned. I was so pleased with the professionalism of JCM. I truly enjoyed every step of the design process and working with them.

Jeff and Tim do a great job of blending timbres to create a wide range of musical textures and dynamics. The arrangements of the source material read true to the original recordings while simultaneously feeling fresh, and appropriate to the field-show idiom.

InPRISMent has just as much appeal at halftime as it does at tournaments. The contrast in timbres and dynamics was loved by the judges. The arrangements of some familiar, and not-so-familiar works was appreciated by mass audiences.

Christopher Scurries, Imperial High School, inPRISMent

This was my first experiance with JCM and I really enjoyed what I got out of it! I was very happy to find that there were shows written for no battery that still were of really high quality. More companies should follow this model!

I had a great team of people to help come up with an on field design. We went with the idea that we all have our own mountains to climb and how through our determination and the support of our community we can over come any obsticle. Our audiances really loved the solos throughout the show and the incorporation of a modern tune among the orchestral pieces.

Thomas Lawrence, Westmoreland High School, Rise Up

We really enjoyed working with the JCM team this year! Jeff and Tyler made the whole process simple and stress free.

Thanks to JCM's expertise and genuine enthusiasm for music education, our marching band season was nothing short of phenomenal. Their professionalism, flexibility, and willingness to go the extra mile undoubtedly made a significant impact on our collective experience.

This was our second year working with the JCM team. Our first year we used one of his pre-written shows and had such success that we decided to do a custom show with him last year. Jeff and his team’s communication, arrangements, and collaboration were all superb. It’s a no brainer that we will be using them again for the coming season!

Too Close to the Sun was a custom show arranged by Jeff Chambers and his team. It was created to help us trace the tale of Icarus, from collecting feathers and building wings, to exploring the ecstasy of flight, and finally being overtaken by his own hubris and flying too close to the sun. There are many exciting opportunities to visually explore the various styles and emotions elicited by Jeff’s musical arrangements, which also sets you up for an effective end to Icarus’s journey to finish the show. This performance was not only a hit with audiences, but also helped us win a State Championship.

Ryan Sweer, Roxbury High School, Icarus

I've known Jeff for a long time, and he has always written exciting, musical, and impactful shows. I may be biased, but I'd put Jeff against any marching band/drum crops arranger in the country. We've have always bought pre-written shows and have been very happy with them. Additionally, we greatly appreciate Jeff's leniency in letting us edit the show as much as we want, including the title and overall theme.

We purchased the show "Emotions," which is the first show Jeff ever wrote. All original music, and it's amazing how effective it is. We changed the title and theme to "The Art of Balance" and created visual moments to match the music as it relates to balance. We really enjoyed working off of the original music and creating our own show out of it. We appreciate Jeff's willingness to let us create our own show out of something he already wrote.

Tanner Cornell, Pasco High School, Emotions

We are about to head into our third season using the JCM Team! Their knowledge for the marching arts, show design and creating an effective show is top notch! We love their involvement in the design/planning process with our staff, and they truly are "one of us."

Bring us a dream was exciting, fun and effective! We had great responses from judges and the crowd all season. We highly recommend performing it with your group!

The website made it simple to browse different shows and pick one that would work for our band. I was hired very late in the summer with no show or staff, so we were on a very tight timetable to get started. The team at Jeff Chambers was very responsive to my questions and helping navigating the purchase process. Once we bought the show, I needed to send a couple of different emails to actually get the files, and I am still getting pending payment emails from tresona. These parts took a bit longer than expected, but likely would not have been an issue is I wasn't on such a tight timetable.

This was my first experience with a stock show, and I was overall very pleased with what we did. Night at the Graveyard was something that the students really enjoyed learning and performing, and we were able to put together something really cool on a really tight timetable. The wind parts were where we needed them, and the sound design brought a lot to our production. One slight hiccup was that our circuit had a 6 minute minimum. Luckily they counted the preshow in that time, but we still had to add a couple of repeats to get to 6 minutes.

Nick Seifert, William Tennent High School, Night at the Graveyard

JCM has always been willing to work with the needs of our program. He is creative, flexible, and passionate about what he does. I am very thankful to have him as a design partner over the past nine years.

Brian Beck, A.C. Davis High School

Jeff Chambers and his team are truly top notch. When you work with Jeff Chambers Music, you are not just "a client," but rather, you become part of their extended family. They care about the quality of the product AND about you and your students as individuals. This team-centered approach is what brings us back to JCM each and every year without hesitation. You won't regret choosing them for your music needs!

The Circle - a simple concept for any audience to understand, yet so much can be done with the production. Lion King and Justin Timberlake in the same show appeals to crowds of all ages, and the show provides tons of great staging opportunities for soloists and ensembles alike.

The JCM Team consistently provides our students with top quality products. The professionalism in their design and creative contributions to furthering the future of the activity continue to inspire all. Most importantly Jeff and the team understand the big picture band director perspective: meeting deadlines, creating attainable music specifically designed for our membership, prop design/movement, and bringing the concept to life on the field to entertain thousands! We are always going to create what's next with JCM!

Beyond Possible inspired our students to rise above and conquer their inner Mt. Everest. We absolutely love creating shows that students can relate to what they experience in daily life. This show certainly has so much more meaning to our students than just the blanket concept!
