Caged
Caged is a powerful emotional narrative about the ways we become trapped. We become trapped by circumstance, expectation, fear, or even by our own thoughts and it takes an enormous amount of courage to break free. The production moves from introspection to upheaval to liberation, presenting a journey audiences can feel as much as see.
The show opens in a restrained, internal world, where the performers inhabit a sense of confinement and stillness. As the production unfolds, that world begins to crack open. Energy surges, pressure builds, and the ensemble pushes against invisible walls challenging the forces that limit and define us. In the final act, the show erupts into a triumphant celebration of release. Barriers collapse, movement expands, and the performers claim a powerful sense of freedom and self-determination.
