There Can Be Only One
Many of you have loved our takes on retro-inspired 80’s themes like 1985 and Back to the Future. Here’s another throwback theme to entertain your home crowd this fall! The 1986 adventure film “Highlander” was the first in a franchise series that featured some of the most iconic songs by the classic rock band Queen. “Princes of the Universe” and “It’s A Kind of Magic” are arranged for the upbeat and exciting movements of the production. The ballad features a brass duet in a cinematic and powerful take on the tune “Who Wants to Live Forever.” The show ends with the band clearing the field for the final soloist - a reference to the movie’s core theme: “There can be only one.”
