Show Description

When we put this show together, we started with elements from our show 1985 (formerly Upside Down), but decided to lean further into the "upside down" theme and the concept of alternate dimensions. The show opens with the Stranger Things Theme, which invites the audience with us into an alternate dimension for the next seven minutes. After that, we jump into “The World Turned Upside Down” from the musical Hamilton. This is the perfect moment in the show to literally turn elements of your field upside down. Performers, props, instruments, anything goes! The next movement brings more music from Stranger Things, with “Running Up That Hill” creating moody and ethereal atmosphere as we embrace the twisted reality of an alternate dimension. Some original music begins the journey back to reality, and the show ends with 2WEI’s cover of “Separate Ways” as we return back home where we started.
